Sales/showroom Assistant at Lynn Carpet Centre

Location: 58 Bergen Way, North Lynn Industrial Estate, King's Lynn, PE30 2JG

Hours:  25–40 hours per week
Working Pattern: Monday–Saturday, Saturdays on a fair rota (planned in advance) with a day off in the week 

Salary: Competitive, based on experience

Overview
We are looking for a friendly, customer-focused Sales Assistant to join our showroom team. This role is primarily service-led, focusing on welcoming customers, understanding their needs, and guiding them through the flooring selection process in a relaxed and professional manner.

Full product training will be provided, supported by hands-on learning alongside an experienced team, with long-term progression opportunities for the right person.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome customers into the showroom
• Listen to customer needs and offer suitable flooring advice
• Guide customers through the sales process from enquiry to installation
• Coordinate with the fitting team to support scheduling
• Process sales and maintain accurate records
• Maintain high showroom presentation standards

You will be:

• Naturally friendly, welcoming, and professional
• Calm, patient, and a good listener
• Confident speaking with customers of all ages
• Well-presented and organised with good attention to detail
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a close-knit team
